BIO
A recent master's graduate in Emerging Media and Technology from Kent State University, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising with a minor in marketing. My academic journey has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to tackle intricate challenges in the world of creative solutions, connecting consumers and businesses in novel ways.
During my studies, I engaged in coursework with a diverse range of organizations, from industry giants like Bose® to regional players such as Ohio. Find It Here. Tourism Board. These experiences allowed me to develop comprehensive integrated marketing campaigns, earning recognition as a semi-finalist in the 2020-2021 Effie Collegiate Bose Brand Challenge for the "Get Means Give" holiday campaign.
Following the completion of my bachelor's degree, I embraced the role of graduate assistant at Kent State University's Office of Outreach and Engagement. In this capacity, I contributed to the planning and execution of K-12 programs and initiatives, including high-profile projects such as the LeBron James Family Foundation I Promise Program and TRIO Upward Bound Programs. My responsibilities encompassed graphic and web design, community outreach, and event coordination.
During my time as a design intern at the Kent State University Division of University Communications and Marketing, I designed a prominent 10'x15' static wall mural for the student center, integrating Kent State branding elements. I also developed an interactive program using the p5.js library, allowing users to create personalized mosaic tiles, further enhancing my skills in graphic design and interactivity.
My passion lies in delving deep into brands, applying evidence-based decision-making, and unearthing innovative solutions. This curiosity and commitment have fueled my pursuit of a career in graphic design and advertising, where I thrive on thematic analysis and creative ideation. I am eager and well-prepared to contribute my expertise to any opportunity that comes my way.
